Chapter 7, Page 6, Book 19

Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent.  It takes a touch of genius and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction.

E.F. Schumacker

July 6th - be more with less

Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.

Albert Einstein

There is a lot of wisdom in the old saying, that less is alway more.  Sometimes we need to find ways to restore simplicity in our lives.  Truth is that life gets a lot simpler when you clear the clutter that makes it complicated

We often over complicate things by worrying about the future instead of working on it now. It is better to spend time on things you can control now and stop worrying about what you cannot control

There is no guarantee how the future will turn out,  but by focusing on things we can control, the future will be a lot brighter and happier.

We can be more with less by simplifying our life and focusing on what matters.

Reduce the complexity of life by eliminating the needless wants of life and the labors of life reduce themselves.

Edwin Way Teale

I've come to believe, it's little things that make ALL the difference.
One of these days I hope to overcome worrying about the future. It's a work in progress ...

Life is so much more simpler with less and little things do matter. I'm a bit of a worrier, but like Myra, I'm working on trying not to be. Like she said, its definitely a work in progress for me too!

Amen- I am slowly working on simplifying my life as best I can. I need to let go of lots of "little stuff' that really isn't important in the big scale of life. xo Diana
