Chapter 7, Page 21, Book 19

Willpower and desire when properly combined make an irresistible pair.

Napoleon Hill

July 21st - willpower, the fair weather friend

Will power is essential to the accomplishment of anything worthwhile.

Brian Tracey

Willpower and discipline are necessities in life but it’s also about determination.  Will power is our best friend when thing are going well but when we get weary it’s often the first to go.

When I don’t want to do something my mind will give me plenty of reasons not to do it and that is where determination comes in.  Determination is using your will power to get what you want.  Persisting always though difficult times, no matter how long it takes or how tiring it gets.

Willpower is the ability to control oneself and determine ones actions.  Displaying self control within and without.  They say that where there is the will, there is a way.  If someone wants or wills something strongly enough, a way can be found to make it happen.

You dont always get what you wish for, you get what your work for.

Don't quit, anything worth doing is worth doing well.

I like how you said will power and then determination is often needed too. I have found setting time goals is a good way to keep myself up with my will power and my determination to get something done. For example, I want to clean out this room by this date. Gives me time to plan, gives me time to orchestrate it and then get the job done.

I just found your blog! I find it very inspirational and upbeat, just what I need today as I recover from bronchitis and hubby went to church without me. I love your sun porch, it looks so cosy.

You must admire someone who had the will power to stay calm in the face of odds they have never faced before. When I see that, I am inspired.
Love it,
Sherry ^ jack just back from church.

That 'Anaonymous' sure has a way with words.
Me, the first thing I thought of was, "You don't always get what you wish for … you get what you need." (or was that the Rolling Stones?)
