Chapter 7, Page 2, Book 19

Like a welcome summer rain, humor may suddenly cleanse and cool the earth, the air and you.

Langston Hughes

July 2nd - making life easier

It’s your outlook on life that counts.  If you take yourself lightly and don’t take yourself too seriously, pretty soon you can find the humor in our every day lives.  And sometimes. it can be a lifesaver.

Betty White

It’s true!  If we are willing to laugh at the little disasters in life, well find that other areas of our life will become easier.  Life is just too short to waste it in misery.

There is scientific proof that laughing is really good for you.  It makes you happier and healthier.  Having a good sense of humor helps us to have fun despite what life throws our way.

Laughter can make it easier to cope with difficult situations.  It makes life fun.  Humor is the spoonful of sugar that helps make things go down easier.

If all else fails, I can always laugh at myself.

A day without laughter is a day wasted.

Charlie Chaplin

We are laughing a little as we wait for a very late mechanic. hanging by a thread for our reservations in Virginia for tonight. We have set 1-2PM as the dead line to call and cancel.....
BUT true, it is much better to laugh than cry. AND we are not in the hospital.. LOL

That first meme is a jewel! 'Scattering sunshine' sounds really cute. (Plus, 'scatter' feels good on my tongue. Scatter-scatter-scatter! Ha!)

All great quotes here! So important to laugh and so important to have the ability to laugh at ourselves sometimes. We laughed yesterday when the wee one was in a pool ring and was having trouble getting out of it. He was in no danger to himself and his dad was on his way over to help him out, but he was so cute saying "I'm stuck" over and over again.

Have a good day Ma!
