Chapter 7, Page 11, Book 19

He is happiest, be he king or peasant, who finds peace in his home.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

July 11th - home sweet home

The foolish man seeks happiness in the distance; the wise grows it under his feet.

James Oppenheim

Our home is the first place we see in the morning and where we come back to at the end of the day so its important that it is  a happy place to come to.

Homes should be a comfortable refuge for the people that live in them,  the place we feel relief when we walk in the door.  Home is the place where we feel at peace.  It’s a great feeling to know that whatever happens during the day, we’ve got a happy home to go to at night.

I don’t think it matters how big or small a house is, as long as it is filled with love, it will be a home to feel safe and comfortable. Our lives are so rushed and stressful, it’s a place where we can relax and laugh.  Home is a where our heart is.

Mid pleasure and palaces though we may roam,
Be it ever so humble, theres no place like home

John Howard  Payne

It's always nice to get away at times, but there is truly no place like home...

I agree, there is no place like home. I always feel the most comfortable when I'm at my home.

Lovely! ...and just this morning I saw something that echoes this post: "Home is not a place, it's a feeling."

Yes, our home should be our 'HAPPY PLACE' so much so that not only we, but others will know just by our demeanor.
A little rain here in PA, but nice.\
