Chapter 6, Page 24, Book 19

That which does not kill us makes us stronger.

Friedrich Nietzsche

June 24th -  get better, not bitter

You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.

Maya Angelou

Facing challenges big and small are a part of life and we need to trust that todaychallenges will be responsible for our growth. They should make us better not bitter.

We cannot put an end to lifes challenges.  They come in all phases of life, no matter what your age is. The trick is to bounce back.  If you fall get up and try again.  Remember that its not what happens to you but how you handle it.

The say that God doesn’t give us more than we can handle. He is always faithful and His promises are true.  We ourselves can handle very little on our own, but with Him nothing is impossible.  We just have to let go of that which we cannot do.

Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out.

John Wooden

This was a great one, Ma! So true that we will have challenges; we just need to move on and try to stay as positive as we can through them! I printed it out to share with someone that needs encouragement like this. Thanks!

"God doesn't give us more than what we can handle."
So true, and this made me chuckle in remembrance. A young(er) co-worker was facing a myriad of serious challenges -- including the premature death of her husband. One day she shared that quote with my boss and added, "I just wish He didn't trust me so much."
