Chapter 5, Page 22, Book 19

Happiness is something that comes into our lives through doors we dont even remember leaving open.

Rose Wilder Lane

May 22nd. - unexpected happiness

Nearly all the best things that came to me in life have been unexpected, unplanned by me.

Carl Sandburg

No matter what we do or how much we plan, life is going to be full of surprises.  Unexpected things happen every day.  Sometimes we think we have it all figured out and then life takes a turn and suddenly everything changes.

I like to call them blessings in disguise   When one door closes another always opens and that is when the happiness comes in.  Just when we think the worst has happened, we find the best is ahead.

Life is full of surprises!

I like that Ma, when we think the worst has happened the best is ahead. So true life is full of surprises. All kinds, good and bad, but all worth it in the end.

From a 'plan for the worst' sort, this post is so REFRESHING! I found myself remembering, and nodding. Carl Sandburg's quote is so true!

I had unexpected happiness this past weekend. It was Andy's graduation - and everything turned out so nice. Sometimes we get family hiccups but not this time.
