Chapter 5, Page 14, Book 19

Don’t wait. The time will never be just right.

Napoleon Hill

May 14th - What are you waiting for...

Never put off until tomorrow what you can do today.

Benjamin Franklin

Sometimes it seems like life is a waiting game.  But waiting is a part of life.  Life awaits a better future.  Each step we take is a new twist and turn, challenging and exciting.  Without a reason to wait for the next step , life we be boring and hope would be lost.

Life will force us to wait whether we like it or not.  The important thing to remember is to make good use of the time we have when we have to wait.  We have to focus on what we can do when we are waiting.  Time is flying by and we don’t want to waste a moment of it.

If you love life, don’t waste time, for time is what life is made up of.

Bruce Lee

I’m not going to waste time or energy spent on something I can’t control….

So true that life does have us waiting at times. Kids wait for the end of school, parents sometimes wait for the end of summer vacation, etc. What we have to learn to cultivate is a live for the moment day and try not to anticipate something else down the line but just enjoy today.

I'm with Betty and Ann. But as a kid I remember asking mama, can't that wait until tomorrow. He answer was always the same, "Wait (weight) is what broke the wagon down." I was much older before I learned there were two words pronounced wait. LOL
Have a great day

How come, the older I get the faster time flies? All too well, I recall my weekday commutes -- sitting, sitting, sitting in traffic. I used to keep a paperback book at the ready; now our cellphones and electronic devices fill those stagnant minutes.

BTW, what you said about Life being short hit home yesterday. One of the ladies in our Bible study is on the same ship as those folks who were killed. She and her hubby were, in fact, going on one of those sightseeing planes; then at the last minute changed their minds.

The older I get -- and so grateful I get older -- the more I see this. A dear friend is in the hospital with heart issues, just diagnosed yesterday afternoon. She's ten years younger and had no issues. Life is short. Enjoy it and share it with those you love.
