April 29th - make a difference

Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does.

  William James

Much of our lives are built on what’s ordinary and routine.  We try to do our best with what we have each day. But doing everything extraordinarily well will make a difference.  By doing something a little extra each day It could make a world of difference.

We can do things both large and small, for others and ourselves, every day if we choose too.  Making a difference can be as simple as buying coffee for a friend who’s been down, or donating old clothes and blankets to homeless shelters.  The opportunities are limitless.

Everything we do matters so while we’re at it, we might as well make a difference for the better.  Put a little extra in the ordinary!

It’s easy to make a buck.  It’s a lot tougher to make a difference.

Tom Brokaw

I think we all try our best (most of the time) but some are better at it. Again good reminders of life as we live it EVERY DAY!

So true each of us could do an extraordinary thing that would be really beneficial to someone, even if that extraordinary thing was a simple thing like a smile, a hug, a kind word, or helping out any other way we are able to. A lot of ordinary being doing extraordinary things does make a difference!
