Chapter 4, Page 15, Book 19

Each day the world is born anew for him who takes it rightly.

James Russell Lowell

April 15th - new beginnings come from endings

The week before Easter is a time of reflection for me.  Today I’m thinking about the fact that with every ending comes a new beginning.

New prospects will always arise from the end of something else. With endings come rebirths. Life is a process, a series of ups and downs, the things that end, and the new opportunities that come out of them.  We are not our past, but made new every day.

The sun inevitable goes down and and it inevitably comes up again proving once again that without endings we cannot have new beginnings.

Morning will come, it has no choice.

So true that each ending has a new beginning. Hadn't thought of that in this way before but that indeed is one happens. So true too that the morning comes every single day, even if we might dread what the day faces, it always does come.

A perfect time for reflection! Our sunrises may not be as apparent (or awesome) as those in the desert … but it's still my favorite part of the day.
