Spring is when you feel like whistling even with a shoe full of slush.
March 14 - Whistle while you work
It’s spring fever. That what the name of is. And when you’ve got it, you want- oh, you don’t quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so.
Whistling is such a happy thing to do. And Springtime does make me happy for sure. It’s true, I do have Spring fever. It’s the beginning of the end to the wintertime blues.
It’s when we feel a higher energy level and our thoughts tend to soar. It’s a sense of comfort, warmth, and renewal. For SAD people like me who have Seasonal Affective Disorder, spring fever is particularly pronounced. Like most, I do not not mind spring fever and would like it to linger a bit longer. A renewed sense of energy is a good thing in my books.
Spring fever is contagious. There is nothing like warm weather to bring out the best in us.
It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the winds blow cold; when it is summer in the light and winter in the shade.
