Chapter 11, Page 26, Book 18

Count your blessings.
Once you realize how valuable you are
and how much you have going for you,
the smiles will return, the sun will break out,
the  ¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪  music ¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪ will play, and
you will finally be able to move forward
with the life that God intended for you
with grace, strength, courage and confidence.

Og Mandino

Today I’m thankful for music

For me music brings Christmas to life…To me each one of these special songs is a pretty package that I get unwrap again every year.

Ace Collins

Yes, I do love Christmas music and I’m playing it now and all the days until Christmas. Christmas carols, songs and hymns are my very favorite kind of music.  I’m in love with Christmas and like to sing about it.  After all Christmas is all about love.

Music is a splendid thing.  It can cheer you up when you’re sad, make you dance like a fool and allow you to drown out the world when you need to.  Music evokes emotion and emotion can bring memory with it.  Research says listening to songs evokes a sense of joy,and will cause increased circulation which encourages good heart health.  Music is good for the heart and the soul.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas;
Soon the bells will start,
And the thing that will make them ring,
Is the carol you sing
Right within you heart.

Meredith Wilson

If you want to get in the holiday spirit, then turn on some festive Christmas music.  Nothing does it better.

I know we just celebrated Thanksgiving, but its time for some music and joy !  Christmas comes but once a year, and I want to make the most of it. Let music fill the air !

Let us have music for Christmas..
Sound the trumpet of joy and rebirth;
Let each of us try, with a song in our hearts.
To bring peace to men on earth

I was never a 'big' fan of music, i.e. concerts etc. I did play in the band and could read music.My favorite time of the year for music was always Christmas. I loved all the Christmas Carols.
I am glad I can understand speech now when I hear, even though people (even my sweetheart) has a mechanical sound and much like a talking duck. There is very little tones and notes. I didn't think I would miss them but I do.

I read of a lady in NYC whose life was music. She had her implants removed and became completely deaf (as I am) because the music was no longer music. She declared she had rather be deaf than hear 'butchered sounds'. I felt sorry for her. I am just clad I can hear and understand.

Anyway, yeah I miss music.

I do like listening to music when I'm cleaning. Makes the time go by faster. I will have to check on Pandora if there's a Christmas channel and then enjoy listening to it during this Christmas season.

I am TREMENDOUSLY grateful for music. I listen to the Christian radio station all the time. It makes me feel so close to Him. Now the wonderful Christmas music is here.

Love to listen to music. I've been listening to Michael Buble the last few days.

Ah, the gift of music! It's truly a vehicle that can take us anywhere in time. What is YOUR favorite Christmas carol, Pam?
