Chapter 10, Page 17, Book 18

Courage doesn’t always roar.  Sometimes, courage is a quiet voice at the end of the day saying 'I will try again tomorrow.’

Mary Anne Radmacher

be courageous…

What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?

Vincent Van Gogh

There are things we try to do, but fall short  but we don’t give up. Each day we start fresh and try again.

Even though we don’t consider ourselves brave people, the truth is that all of us demonstrate a little courage every day in ways we don’t even realize.

We deal with a lot of varieties of obstacles as part of our daily lives.  Every time we are challenged, we show courage.  It takes courage to follow our dreams.

There are things in life that we don’t necessarily like to do, but we take courage and do them anyway.  We don’t give up or give in, we try again.

You get in life what you have the courage to ask for.

Have courage for the small things in life...they sometime become the big ones.

Absolutely. Now the song "High Hopes" is playing in my head. Giving up never accomplished anything, but perseverance can move mountains. (or rubber tree plants...)

I like that quote that if Plan A doesn't work, there's 25 other letters in the alphabet, so basically, just keep trying. One will eventually succeed or move on to other adventures, but at least one can say they tried and tried their best with what they had to work with.

I don't consider myself particularly courageous, but you're right. Every day in little ways we make decision: Climb in that car and drive a busy boulevard, make that doctor appointment, follow up on diagnostics, etc.

That last slide about remaining letters is a stitch!

I wish I were more courageous.

Individual 'intellectual' courage is another thing that separates us from the animals of the woods.
