Chapter 6, Page 6, Book 18

Take a chance!  All life is a chance.  The man who goes farthest is generally the one who willing to do and dare.

Dale Carnegie

Just for today, I won’t be afraid to take chances when they come...

Nothing important was ever achieved without someone taking a chance.

H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

I’ve learned that each new day gives us a new chance at life and we only have to be willing to take it. Life is always about making the best of what we have with what we got.  Even if it isn’t what we’d planned, we just need to go for it.

Learning what to keep and what to let go of can be one of life’s greatest challenges.  Yet the greatest risk is often that of doing nothing and settling for what is.

It’s a chance to do the little things every day that make the world a better place.

Every ending is followed by a new beginning.  Change is sometimes scary but we need to try to handle anything life throws our way.  In order for us to take advantage of all we are capable of, we have to take some chances.

Beware of missing chances; otherwise it may be altogether too late some day.

Franz Liszt

I've never been a huge risk-taker, but I've been accused more than once of "caring too much." What's that even mean? That's like saying "breathing too much..." Better to be hurt occasionally than to be numb.

I liked that life is; that pretty much describes a lot of the different aspects of life. That is so true about learning what to keep and what to let go can be a big challenge. Letting go sometimes can be so hard to do.

"Even if it isn’t what we’d planned, we just need to go for it." That sure speaks loudly to me!
Like my late father, I can plan and plan and plan 'til my face turns blue, but sometimes? Sometimes God chuckles.
