Chapter 2, Page 23, Book 18

The great crises of life are not, I think, necessarily those which are in themselves the hardest to bear, but those for which we are least prepared.

Mary Adams

I was walking a long, minding my business, when bam!  out of nowhere a terrible flu bug hit me over a week ago now.  I was flat out of it for about 3 days doing nothing much but sleeping and since then trying to get well and still sleeping a lot.  I was not prepared for it at all .

Not every challenge has to be dealt with on Monday. That's what Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are for!

Lawrence Spindel

Family and friends told me that it takes about a week to recover, and I’m finding out that it’s a little more than a week.  I am recovering, slowly but surely.  About the time I think I’m better, I do too much and find myself feeling worse.

This getting well is a challenge for me and I’m learning that a little patience is needed.  It’s not over but it is better and I’m taking it one day at a time.

There's always room for improvement, you know--it's the biggest room in the house.

I and many others can say amen to your statement. Not the flu for me, but my back. I think I am out of the woods now, but a couple times thought I 'had it made' and did too much like you.

I am glad mine was not the flu, but it just hit me, it is the same idea. So yeah, YOU are gonna make it,BUT NOT AS FAST AS YOU WANT TO.
I think you are feeling better, but still take it easy!

Well I seem to be out of the loop - I know you have been sick, but I am not sure what you had. I am glad you are feeling better. One day at a time.

I see the statistics each night on the National news ... but you've just 'brought it home' for those of us on the sidelines. Scary business, indeed. I'm just so glad to realize you've persevered!
