Chapter 12, Page 5, Book 17

Each day comes bearing its own gifts.  Untie the ribbons.

The only gift is a portion of thyself.

Ralph Waldo Emerson
Give the gift of a hand crafted item. If you create with wood, fabric, paint, or yarn, you may already have enough stock in your home to create this year’s gifts. And digital photos are completely free.

Christmas is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not put away
like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.
The good you do for others is good you do yourself

Folks amaze me who 'create' cards and gifts. WE have only received hand made gifts a few times but they were treasured. I did painted rocks once in the desert! But not much other wise.
Good on you!

I would rather receive a 'homemade' gift than anything! I brought two big loaves of banana nut bread (my mom's recipe) to son in Alabama last month ... he was truly delighted, and that made my UNcreative heart pretty happy.
