Chapter 12, Page 15, Book 17

Each day comes bearing its own gifts. Untie the ribbons.

Give !  Give the love you have received to those around you.  You must love with your time, with your hands and your hearts. You need to share all that you have.

Mother Teresa

Today’s gift suggestion is to :

Create a calendar that includes your families important dates like birthdays and anniversaries.  Include family pictures, then make a copy for each person in your family.

Every time you tear a leaf off a calendar, you present a new place for new ideas and progress .

Charles F. Kettering

Calendars are one thing we all use.  I know I’d be lost without mine.  This time of year you see all kinds in the stores and many business give them out as part of their advertisements. So why not make up one specially for family.

Start the new year with a new calendar designed with love.

Yes, the pictures of the children I use are of some of my grandchildren.  The ones I used yesterday, as well as today, were taken several years ago but they are of some of my favorite memories.

Nothing should be prized more highly than the value of each day.

Johann von Goethe

The calendar idea is a great one. Years ago, I had calendars made up for my parents and in-laws. Each month featured a photo of my choosing. It was a lot of fun choosing the "perfect" pictures for those calendars, and our parents were thrilled with them.

Merry Christmas! "Seeya" next year.

That is a great idea about a family calendar and then making them as gifts for the whole family. Lots of good ways to preserve memories.

Like Susan said... Years ago - shortly after my dad passed - I had a photo calendar done for my mother and she was thrilled.
Love how modern technology's made it possible even for amateurs like me to create our own!
