Chapter 6, Page 9, Book 17

♥ ¸¸.•*¨*So let the sun shine in, face it with a grin.  Smilers never lose and frowners never win.  So Let the sun shine in, face it with a grin.  Open up your heart and let the sun shine in.♥¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪

Never give up!

Looking for and enjoying beauty is a way to nourish the soul. the universe is in the habit of making beauty. There are flowers and songs, snowflakes and smiles, acts of great courage, laughter between friends, a job well done, the smell of fresh baked bread. Beauty is everywhere.

Matthew Fox

In life there are sunny days and cloudy days. But even if things don't unfold the way you expected, don't be disheartened or give up.  Darker days are just as much a part of life as are the days graced with sunshine. . They show us a different perspective of our world, while helping us appreciate the moments of illumination that inevitably follow.

There is more above a cloudy day than we realize. So goes this truth with our hearts and minds as well. This is just a reminder not to lose hope. Clouds are nature's veil and like the stinging pain of grief, with time and the energy of the wind they blow away to reveal the beauty of life in all its glow and majesty.

Don't give up. Don't give in. Brighter days and more peaceful nights are on their way to you. I like to think that those cloudy days, those storms in life,  are telling us to keep going.

Remember:  Each day includes moments that can be deeply enjoyed or carelessly tossed aside.

Welcome every morning with a smile. Look on the new day as another special gift from your creator, another golden opportunity to complete what you were unable to finish yesterday. Be a self starter. Let your first hour set the theme of success and positive action that is certain to echo through your entire day. Today will never happen again. Don’t waste it with a false start or no start at all. You were not born to fail.

I like the analogy of the clouds and not giving up. I will have to remember that on our next cloudy day.

Good read and great thoughts to go along with the quotes. I am very fortunate cloudy days and Mondays never get me down. BUT as a rule, some folk cannot look past clouds. Sorta like the song says, "Rainy day in Georgia, I think it is raining all over the world." Some folk feel a cloudy day is everywhere and forever!

Yes, more days than not contain moments I'd just as soon toss aside.
Then again, if every day was joy-filled and sunshine-y, would I fully appreciate it? Even in the weather forecast, lessons exist.

lessons to be learned in everything we do. "Darker days are just as much a part of life as are the days graced with sunshine. . They show us a different perspective of our world, while helping us appreciate the moments of illumination that inevitably follow."

The Byrds had a song about the circle of life and your post reminded me of it.
So true.
