Chapter 4, Page 27, Book 17

With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts

Eleanor Roosevelt

Love, Laugh and Live

To laugh often and love genuinely.  To respect others and judge less.  To win the affection and sincere smiles of children.  To earn the regard of honest peers and endure the betrayal of fake friends.  To appreciate the beauty surrounding you wherever you are, whenever you are.  To find the good in people and situations.  To give what you can and leave the world a little better than you found it.  To have explored ideas and passions and sung at the top of your lungs in delight.  To know that at least one life has breathed easier because you have lived.  This is what living is all about.

Live, because life is too short and humanity takes it for granted, Laugh, because it is the best medicine and everyone loves a good laugh, Love, because no one loves enough and if we loved one another like we loved ourselves, the world would be a better place.

This is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it.

When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever; in its place is something that you have left behind... let it be something good.

It is good to live each day fully and completely, because indeed it won't come back again. It is so true what the Bible says of life being so fleeting.

I so agree that laughter is the BEST medicine. (I'm reminded of that splendid Robin Williams film, Patch Adams.)
Why did I grow so serious, so often?
Perhaps I should "sing at the top of my lungs in delight" ... and crack myself up at the absurdity.

"Live, because life is too short and humanity takes it for granted." this says it all in my humble opinion.
