Chapter 4, Page 26, Book 17

With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts

Eleanor Roosevelt

Opening your heart to love.

The journey may be long, and the going may get tough, but it is always easier when you walk the road with a friend.

Our greatest task isn’t to find love, but to discover and eliminate all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.  Even when you’re afraid, keep trusting and keep your heart and mind wide open.

Peace is not the absence of trouble, but the presence of love.  As you find the good that exists in others and situations, you discover the love that exists within you.

Love and peace are eternal.

This new day has greeted us with no rules; unconditional opportunity. Do not dilute the power of this new day with the hardship of yesterday. Greet this day the way it has greeted you; with open arms and endless possibility.

I like your definition of what peace is. We truly do need the presence of love in our lives.

I enjoyed deeply, the statement,'Peace is not the absence of trouble.' That is a concept that is hard for us humans to get through our thick skulls, but so simply stated. THANKS!

What impacted me most is your line, "Even when you’re afraid, keep trusting and keep your heart and mind wide open."
Such good stuff!

i find it difficult to muddle through things alone. So I need to take this advice. "The journey may be long, and the going may get tough, but it is always easier when you walk the road with a friend."
