I believe in process. I believe in four seasons. I believe that winter's tough, but spring's coming. I believe that there's a growing season. And I think that you realize that in life, you grow. You get better.
February 2nd - growing forward
Love is the answer, and you know that for sure; Love is a flower, you've got to let it grow.
We always hear that it is better to give than to receive, but there are times we need to receive in order to grow.
When a plant blooms, it takes in the energy of the sunlight, the oxygen from the air, and the nourishment of water. Slowly, the furled petals of blooms unfold, revealing the face of the flower.
It receives from nature what it needs to grow.
Like a flower that grows through a crack in the concrete, sometimes we have to make the best of our situations and bloom where we have been planted.
We may not realize it, but where are now is providing us with vital life lessons for our next adventure of growth and discovery.
Spring is very much on my mind these days and I have lots of pictures of the flowers that bloom here to share. I don’t know whether I’ll still be here when they blossom this year, but they don’t need me in order to bloom and grow. They’ll just bloom right where they are.
There are times that like flowers, we need a little raking and turning in our lives to make us bloom — trials that help stir up the soil of our lives
Flowers don’t compare themselves, they just bloom
Too often we look around at each other to measure our own progress. Somedays we can look to our left and see that we may be blooming a little faster than the one next to us and feel good like we are ahead in some sort of race. Other days, we make look to our right and see that we are behind. That all those other flowers have opened up and are looking so, so gorgeous and then, we feel bad. We are behind.
So remember: Stop comparing, start blooming
No matter who we are or where we are, no matter the circumstances, we too can grow and bloom right where we are.
The good and bad things are what form us as people... change makes us grow.
