Chapter 1, Page 3, Book 17

Life's up and downs provide windows of opportunity to determine your values and goals. Think of using all obstacles as stepping stones to build the life you want.

The 10th day of Christmas…January 3rd

It's not hard to make decisions when you know what your values are.

Roy Disney

As we race through life, facing daily challenges and trying to stay on top of change, it's not always easy to find time to reflect on the values we hold dear. But, in truth, moments of change are exactly the times when we most need to remember values!
Values like integrity, loyalty, faith, compassion, courage and a sense of community, all work together to give us direction and purpose.  Values build personal resiliency, which in turn helps you bounce back from adversity and embrace new opportunities.

On the tenth day my true love gave to me the value of resiliency. To never give up, and to persevere through the difficult times, that without the trials and tribulations how can we truly understand the values that structure who we are and the content of our character.

As we continue to celebrate this Christmas season for just a few more short days, may we all put others over self, good over evil, kindness over disrespect, peace over conflict, and most importantly love over hate.

Just as your car runs more smoothly and requires less energy to go faster and farther when the wheels are in perfect alignment, you perform better when your thoughts, feelings, emotions, goals, and values are in balance.

That is so true how values build resiliency and that values are often expressed during times of adversity. That is when our true characters do indeed come out. Hard to believe the Christmas season is winding down. Fewer and fewer people have their outside lights on.

Just knowing values is worth a lot. Many do not! It is a blessing to be raised with the knowledge of right from wrong, love from hate.

This quote resonates with me, "you perform better when your thoughts, feelings, emotions, goals, and values are in balance."

Great post! I trust your holiday season was filled with joy. I so agree that we perform better when our thoughts align with Godly values.
You are a wise woman, and a person full of encouragement.
Love to you.

I've read a number of Tracy's books and I've enjoyed them all. He has a knack for "putting the hay down so the goats can get at it," as my grandmother used to say.
