Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving

Albert Einstein

January 18th - we cannot stand still, but must keep moving

Well moving is something I wish I could say I was doing.  Whenever my house finally gets sold, I can move into a new place.  But meanwhile there are no takers at all.  This tends to put me at a standstill.  I’m waiting to move, but while I’m waiting, I’ve got to keep on keeping on and take a step forward every day.

It’s not like there is nothing to do at all.  I have still got to put in some fine tuning to the sorting out and packing up that I’ve been doing.  I’ve chosen to keep way too much stuff and need to downsize even more.

This is really getting into the nitty gritty.  What to keep and what to give away.

Not only in my circumstance, but in life we need to remember to keep moving, not to let circumstances hold us back.

I’m trying hard to remember that not getting what we want at times is the wonderful stroke of luck.  We shouldn't be disappointed if life doesn’t turn out the way we want it to be, may be its making the way for something more better

Balance cannot be found it should be created by you. Money can’t buy happiness but peacefulness can. Forgive your enemy but don’t forget them, make use of the lessons you learnt from them. Be ready to help some when they are in need, without expecting anything in return. Importantly don’t put the key of your happiness in someone else’s hands; also always find time for the things that make you feel happy. Life is not simple and easy, so what comes easy won’t last and what lasts forever won’t come easily.

No matter how good or bad things turn around you, learn to keep moving ahead. Everything will fade and everyone will change. It’s all about quality of life and finding balance.

You have to come to your closed doors before you get to your open doors... What if you knew you had to go through 32 closed doors before you got to your open door? Well, then you'd come to closed door number eight and you'd think, 'Great, I got another one out of the way'... Keep moving forward.

So true to keep moving forward. It is hard to have a house on the market and wondering when it will sell. The latest house we sold took about 3 months to get an offer hubby finally accepted. The house was empty so we didn't have to worry about keeping it up, but it is always good when a deal is made and further plans can be put into place.

It will come when the time is right. My mom's little 30's cottage house lingered for a while on the market. Everyone said, no one will buy that type of house anymore. Lo and behold, several offers eventually came and the young lady who has it now appreciates every inch of it. It is such a pleasure to drive by it and see how much it is loved 16 years later. Don't get discouraged, your house is waiting for the right person to come along.

YES we do keep moving. As I tell anyone who is selling a house, EVERY HOUSE will sell. They always have. It is sitting there waiting for that person to stop by, or drive by and their mind says, "THAT IS IT!"

We have sold a lot of houses, timing, weather, schedules all contribute. But as you said, one must keep on "Keeping on".
The best of Luck. Oh yes, IT WILL SELL! You can count on it.

We are sitting on a house that we havent even put on the market yet though we need to sale it. Its still full of things but no one lives there anymore. Then we want to sell the one we live in now eventually and get a smaller home or condo. by the shore.
I love the bicycle picture. The saying is so true.

It is so true that peacefulness can bring you comfort. Moving is a chore, I know.

Don't stop believing (great song!!!). I believe there's someone out there who can't wait to make your home their own. I'll say a prayer (or several), just in case!
