Chapter 9, Page 3, Book 16

Look to your health; and if you have it, praise God and value it next to a good conscience; for health is the second blessing that money cannot buy; therefore value it, and be thankful for it.

Isaac Walton

September 3rd - give me the things money can’t buy.

If you want to feel rich, just count the things you have that money can't buy.

As the saying goes, the best things in life are free. There are certain things in life where currency has no value, such as friends, family, and our health too.

Things Money Can’t Buy include Respect, Natural beauty, Manners, Common sense, A clear conscience, Purpose in life, Integrity, Good friends, A long life, Close knit family, An open mind, A worry free day, Trust, A new beginning and Peace of mind.

We spend most of our waking hours trying to make money, using money or worrying about money, but Money certainly isn’t every thing in life.

You aren’t wealthy until you have something money can’t buy.
 Garth Brooks

So true money is not everything. Having people we love who are healthy is so more important.

I appreciate that quote by Brooks. Good one and very true.

Have a great Labor Day Weekend.

That opening quote (C. Ozick) is one of my very favorites!

Manners, common sense ...
(The seeming lack of) those are my two of my biggest pet peeves. I don't know if it comes from living in a big city or what ....

i agree that the one thing money can not buy is an OPEN MIND.

So true! Grateful for so many things that money can't buy. Friends, family, the ability to enjoy life. What blessings!
