Chapter 9, Page 2, Book 16

You'll get through this. It won't be painless. It won't be quick. But God will use this mess for good. In the meantime don't be foolish or na├»ve. But don't despair either. With God's help you will get through this.

September 2nd - faith to see you through it

Life is not the way it’s supposed to be, it’s the way it is. The way you cope is what makes the difference.

 Virginia Satir

One thing I’ve learned in life is that nothing ever stays the same and no matter what life goes on.  Time after time my faith has made all the difference.

How we react to the blows that life sometimes sends our way is up to us.  It’s a choice we make.  I believe that every thing in life has been planned from the very beginning and what we do with what we get makes all the difference.

We never walk the pathway of life alone and no matter how dark and dismal things may be there will be a light at the end of the tunnel.

Staying positive is only a small part in getting through the difficult times, but it’s an important part.   When life takes a turn for the worst, we can remain positive and trust  that there really is a light at the end of the tunnel and that we’ll make it through, or we can relegate ourself to being nothing more than a victim of circumstance.

Some situations are beyond our control and no matter what we do, we can’t change a thing, but we can control our attitude.

That last statement is perfect!

Headed to Orlando to avoid HERMINE!

Our attitude is all we can control. I wish I'd learned this lesson sooner. It would have made many difficult times less difficult. Take care and have a great weekend!

I liked that quote from Max Lucado. That is so true! Staying positive with an attitude helps too, also realizing that "this too will pass" helps us get through those tough times we all face.

Sound advice indeed. "When life takes a turn for the worst, we can remain positive and trust that there really is a light at the end of the tunnel and that we’ll make it through."
