Chapter 5, Page 11, Book 16

You've got to roll with the punches
Learn to play all of your hunches
Make the best of whatever comes your way.
Forget that blind ambition
And learn to trust your intuition
Plowin' straight ahead come what may.

 Jimmy Buffett

May 11th - intuition

The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery. There comes a leap in consciousness, call it intuition or what you will, and the solution comes to you, and you don't know how or why.

 Albert Einstein

Just as birds know when to migrate, we are all blessed with intuition, an inner knowing or wisdom of the heart. It's our sixth sense, beyond what we see, hear, taste, touch, and smell.

This inner knowing helps us  know if we are making a wise decision. Through intuition, we may receive a flash of insight or  an instinctive feeling about something or someone.   It may be felt in the stillness or triggered by outside events.

Trust your intuition. Go with your gut and know that your opinion counts. Be assertive, and if you don’t agree or like something, speak up. Your ideas could stimulate new ideas and new solutions.

With intuitive awareness, the more you notice these meaningful coincidences, the more often you will encounter them. The key is to be optimistic.

The virtue of the imagination is its reaching, by intuition and intensity, a more essential truth than is seen at the surface of things.

John Ruskin

Very good points about intuition. I liked what you said: This inner knowing helps us know if we are making a wise decision.***
There are times in my life I have ignored that inner voice and did get into trouble. It pays to heed!

I've learned with age to use my intuition and if something doesn't sound right, I've learned to not pursue it. Glad God gave that to us!

I always trust my intuition. "You've got to roll with the punches."
