Chapter 5, Page 10, Book 16

Friends... they cherish one another's hopes. They are kind to one another's dreams.

Henry David Thoreau

May 10th - Consider the One Another's

These two little words, one another, can make a big difference in our relationships. They are the building blocks to great friendships, happy families and a better world.

Here is some very good advice about dealing with other people

 Love one another
Forgive one another
Be devoted to one another
Forbear with one another
Encourage one another
Build up one another
Don’t judge one another
Accept one another
Counsel one another
Greet one another
Wait for one another
Care for one another
Serve one another
 Pray for one another
Fellowship with one another
Mutually depend on one another
Outdo one another in showing honor
Submit to one another
Rejoice with one another
Weep with one another
Stir up one another
Be hospitable to one another
Give gifts to one another
Be clothed in humility to one another
Don’t speak evil against one another
Don’t grumble against one another
Be kind to one another
Confess your faults to one another
Bear one another’s burdens one another
Have the same mind toward one another

We need one another.  Remember that:  if we wish to be loved, we must give love. If we wish to be respected, we must respect all persons, even those we dislike. If we wish to be forgiven, we must also forgive. If we wish others to speak kindly of us, we must speak kindly of them and avoid gossip. If we want happy marriages, we must be faithful, forgiving and kind to our spouses. If we wish to be fulfilled in our lives, we must share generously with others.

Love one another and you will be happy. It's as simple and as difficult as that.

Michael Leunig

I think the last quote summed it up quite well. "Love one another and you will be happy. It's as simple and as difficult as that."

So true what we want, we must be also willing to give.

What an amazing list concerning 'One another'. I know it all is true, It is just that I have NEVER seen it listed in such a way. Good stuff, and very insightful and necessary for humans to live together in harmony!
