Chapter 3, Page 10, Book 16

It's not where we stand but in what direction we are moving.

Johann von Goethe

March 10th- Know how to get there before you start on your trip.

If we simply take the time to look up from wherever we are and take the time to look around we can see God’s amazing beauty all around us.  Focusing on what really matters in life makes a huge difference.

We do not know what the future holds. We hold a vague map with some inkling of direction but how it all unfolds is unknown. We can accept that change itself is not the difficulty; rather, we acknowledge that how we approach change makes all the difference.

I’ve learned to  accept that some changes are final and some changes we have made will be what makes the rest of our lives and I've accepted that there is no going back.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Reinhold Niebuhr

So true about changes; some indeed are final, no matter how hard that can be to accept, but then acceptance is part of life, especially if we want to move on and grow.
