Chapter 1, Page 9, Book 16

You cannot teach love, but you can feel the sweetness that it pours into everything

 Anne Sullivan

We all need validation. We all want to feel that we matter. With encouragement, the heart expands. With understanding and kindness, sweet smiles become contagious.

Although it is nice when gestures of love are returned, true love is a one way street.  It’s a pure flow of giving and expecting nothing in return.

Celebrate we will, for life is short but sweet for certain.

Most every day I get a GEM from your entry. Today was no exception but I had to tell you:

"Although it is nice when gestures of love are returned, true love is a one way street."

IS true wisdom and a real KEEPER!
WE are over cast but warming up here in Florida!

That is so true about true love and pure love; so unselfish, something really to try to strive for; I know sometimes I expect things in turn.

True; I need to remember, even the meanest among us deserve validation! Good stuff, Ma.
