Chapter 12, Page 6, Book 15

Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love!

Hamilton Wright Mabie

December 6th - a heart seeking goodness

Advent is a season of anticipation and preparation. Advent is about finding the Sacred in the Everyday. Advent is about finding the time. Advent grows and gains momentum during the weeks before Christmas.

Greg Richardson

On a can of room freshener there appeared these words: Bring the clean, natural freshness of a country meadow indoors. Freshens the air in your home with a clean, back to nature scent - as refreshing as the summer grass and fragrant flowers of a country meadow. Following were these words: WARNING: Inhaling the contents can be harmful or fatal. Just a reminder: that which smells sweet is not necessarily healthy. That which is popular is not necessarily true

Most of us love to be outdoors, especially if we have spent a long time stuck at home or cooped up in an office. There’s something in the natural world that revives our spirits. The beauty around us wakes up our senses in a way nothing else can. You could almost say that nature is speaking to us. If you just look outside for one minute, you  realize just how much praise is going on!

Nature is beautiful on it’s own.  No artificial fragrance can replace it.  We are each of us beautiful creations too.  Remember to be yourself, not an imitation of another.

Joy to the world, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.

Issac Watts

I like your deer too!!! I walked out in my garden yesterday and said there's nothing going on here. But there is and was, I just didn't see it. Happy Sunday to you too, thanks for always visiting my blog!

That was too funny with the warning on that air freshener :) I do like fresh air and being outside; not just when it is too cold out :)

Wise words....watch out for the imitations.
Your holiday scene is lovely.
Enjoy the season, and appreciate the reason.
Much love to you.

Lovin' the air freshener analogy! Being outside, experiencing the elements can be oddly intoxicating.

PS - Won't you please tell me where you found that precious ceramic(?) deer? That expression on his/her face is precious! (mwm387@cox.net)
