Chapter 10, Page 21, Book 15

It's a mistake, when life hands you a tough lesson, to think that you can get back at life by not learning it.

Robert Brault

October 21st - learn to love your mistakes

Don’t worry about the hard times because some of the most beautiful things
we have in life come from changes or mistakes.

Mistakes are part of the learning experience.  We may say things unwisely and hurt other people. Others may have made errors that hurt us as well. When we learn to see mistakes as lessons, with compassion and forgiveness, we can let go of resentments and move on.

Don't allow the error to increase its impact by holding grudges or allowing negativity to fester.  Don't condemn or shame others or ourselves. Instead, employ the tool of forgiveness.  Engage in forgiveness by  releasing the need to punish or be right, and let it go. Every error offers an opportunity to give thanks for growth. We all make mistakes. It’s a fact of life. What matters is what you do afterward.

You have a choice. You can let your mistake torment you, embarrass you, and hold you back. Or, you can admit you made a mistake, learn from it, and move on.

Mistakes are lessons in disguise. You can learn something from each and every one.

Learning is from all sources of course. My parents always pushed that thought 'Learn from your Mistakes,' you WILL make them, don't repeat them.
YOu are so right, we can learn from everyone!

So true that mistakes are lessons in disguise. We just sometimes have to study them and make sure we don't repeat them. Everything indeed can be a learning process, good or bad, if we allow ourselves the ability to learn from it.

The more I learn the more I realize I don't know squat, but every day is a school day.
