Chapter 10, Page 11, Book 15

Just before the death of flowers,
And before they are buried in snow,
There comes a festival season
When nature is all aglow.

October 11th - love glows

Festivals are happy occasions.  Here in our state festivals abound.  We have a fish festival, an apple festival, and a pumpkin festival.  There are all sorts of festivals to celebrate, even an Bratwurst festival.  If you want to have a good time and lots of good food, you really need to go to one of these festivals.

Happy times do make us glow.  Love makes us glow too.  When you are in love or show love, I think you do see a radiance not there before.

This tree that grows in the curb lawn here at my house is aglow.  From the porch the world seems a brighter place than before.  Looking out my window just before sunset last night, it looked like someone had turned the lights on.

And remember:  What is the longest word in the English language?

SMILES.   There is a mile between the first and the last letters.

We just had the Frog Festival here. We really don't have any connection with frogs but we just wanted a name that no one else had.
It's a fun event.
Leaves are turning here too. I need to get some popcorn because the show is about to begin.

Some of our favorite traveling memories are when we stumbled onto a Festival where we parked. Yes Love glows and very brightly in the FALL!

You have a front row seat on your porch to a great show!! That's a great way to explain the colors of Fall....glowing.
Have a happy Sunday.

Looks so pretty with the leaves changing color. I like all the festivals your area has, Ma, they all sound like fun!

Wow, those leaves are lovely!
I'd never heard of a fish festival before... but have to applaud folks ingenuity!
