Chapter 7, Page 13, Book 15

Power is of two kinds. One is obtained by the fear of punishment and the other by acts of love. Power based on love is a thousand times more effective and permanent than the one derived from the fear of punishment.

Mohandas K. Gandhi

July 13th - love has power

Never forget the three powerful resources you always have available to you: love, prayer, and forgiveness.

H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

Love is something each of us wants, but many never find: genuine love. All around us we can see an endless pursuit of love. We look for it everywhere: in our homes and families, friendships,  relationships, marriage and religion.

Love is the most powerful and still most unknown energy in the world.
Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

Love is a powerful source that many fail to use.  Love needs to get arms and legs, it requires hands and feet when it comes to applying it in daily life

We look forward to the time when the Power of Love will replace the Love of Power. Then will our world know the blessings of Peace.

William Ewart Gladstone

Love, like a diamond, has multiple facets that lend themselves more easily to application. Some of its aspects can work wonders if called upon and applied: understanding, tolerance, receptiveness, acceptance, encouragement, harmony, to name just a few.

There are some who say that prayer is not their thing or that they find it difficult to do it at the best of times. But when we are faced with pain, tragedy and suffering, prayer can become an important bridge to help us through and to help us make sense of what can't be explained.

If you would be loved, love and be lovable.

 Benjamin Franklin

Gladstones quote, WOW I like that.
Yes it is a shame that some may not encounter 'Genuine Love'.

Good entry. Nice day here in Florida!

I like your thought, Ma, that love is like a diamond; it does have many facets just like a diamond does. We just need to remember to think about all facets of it and use them as we love people.

You made a powerful statement with the words, "Love, like a diamond, has multiple facets that lend themselves more easily to application. " something to ponder.
