Chapter 6, Page 2, Book 15

Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don't wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it's at work or with your family. Every minute should be enjoyed and savored.

Earl Nightingale

June 2 - love delights

Savor life's tiny delights--a crackling fire, a glorious sunset, a hug from a child, a walk with a loved one, a kiss behind the ear.
John Anthony

When love enters the picture the whole equation alters.  Many things delight me.  I have strong delight in my children. I delight in books, iced tea, and my dearest friends because they hold a piece of my heart.

We need to savor the delights of love, savoring each moment and rejoice in them. To savor something means to relish it, to delight in the experience of it.

Remember to savor each day, whatever it holds: work and play, coffee and kids, meals and prayers and the good stuff and the hard stuff. Life is all about love.

Love is the flower of life, and blossoms unexpectedly and without law,
and must be plucked where it is found, and enjoyed for
the brief hour of its duration.
D. H. Lawrence

Do what you love, love what you do and always remember why you do it

Good advice, Ma, to savor each day and to take delight in those things and people that we do. Life does go by so fast as it is; we need to really make the effort to savor so much of it.

There are people who run over or miss the sweetest times of their lives trying to reach a goal, one that will not bring them the pleasure of one evening in LOVE!

Morning visits here are always a 'good time'. (And thanks for all the comments you send my way. WE like them)
WE are over cast today, but nice.

Every minute of life counts, it's true. This D. H. Lawrence quote caught my fancy, "Love is the flower of life, and blossoms unexpectedly and without law, and must be plucked where it is found, and enjoyed for the brief hour of its duration."

I've read several of Earl Nightingale's book and I love them.
I also loved his quote.
