Chapter 6, Page 11, Book 15

Favorite people, favorite places,
 Favorite memories of the past,
These are the joys of a lifetime. . .
These are the things that last.

June 11 - Love is the harmony between friends.

Friendship is thoughtfulness - its having regard for other people and their feelings. When you're a true friend you give thought to what would bring others happiness, whether it's a special gift, giving some loving attention, or helping them celebrate a special occasion. It's thinking about how your actions affect others and caring about how they feel.

Rainbows provide a wonderful example of harmony. Each color is clearly defined, yet they all come together perfectly for a beautiful work of natural art. The diversity of humankind  is similar: Each person shines in his or her own unique way, yet together we create a portrait of love, peace, patience, forgiveness, understanding, and oneness.

Harmony begins with me.

When just being together is more important than what you do,
    you are with a friend.

When I look at you I see sunshine looking back at me.

I love that "When just being together is more important than what you do, you are with a friend." That is so true. I like too the image of the rainbow and harmony and how we should have harmony with one another, no matter what our differences might be.

I have never thought of harmony in that respect, but it is certainly true.... Thanks. It will be a hot one here today...
