Chapter 5, Page 21, Book 15

If love is the treasure, laughter is the key.

Yakov Smirnoff
May 21st - love is a treasure

Scavenger hunts are a treasure hunt game where you get clues that tell you where to go next. As you solve each clue and arrive at the destination, you receive another clue for the next step and slowly get closer to your prize. Of course, everyone is competing to find the prize, but the journey is the most fun. People love figuring out the clues along the way!

Treasure the love you have received above all. It will survive long after your gold and good health have vanished.
Og Mandin

Imagine what would happen if a couple knew on their wedding day how life would turn out for themselves and their children and grandchildren. The weight of that knowledge would derail the natural growth of love between them. They would be deprived of the process of deepening their love for each other, coming to know each other better, and hashing out important decisions together.

It’s the same for most anything we do in life, we need to look for the clues along the way, the little things that grow into the big things we treasure.

Love is a Treasure,
which can never pay.
The only way to keep it,
is to give away.

As always, grow in love! And laugh often.

The journey we are all on is indeed important. But it helps to have a sense of humor along the way. That is why I love the first quote you posted by Yakov Smirnoff, "If love is the treasure, laughter is the key."

This one is one we try to live by. The journey is important, we must enjoy the trip. Reaching a destination is very important, but sometimes it takes a long time, so we try to enjoy this life, even as we head down hill.

Sharing a smile and laughter makes the journey SWEET!

That is so true if we knew how our lives would go before we got married or after we got married, it would derail love indeed. I'm glad God doesn't give us the blueprint of our lives but leads us through each and every day. And the best prize of course we'll get at the end of our days is eternity with him.
