Chapter 4, Page 13, Book 15

We can do no great things, only small things with great love.

Mother Teresa

April 13th - love is no small thing

Is it so small a thing
To have enjoyed the sun,
To have lived light in the spring,
To have loved, to have thought, to have done.

Matthew Arnold

Love is no small thing, it’s the whole thing. All we can control in this imperfect life of ours is the love that we choose to give out without any regard to ever getting it back in return.

Our love and empathy have the power to alleviate the suffering of others, and that is no small thing. Our whole life revolves around love. Love is what gives our life meaning.

What is truly valuable is the life we live, the love we give, and the love we receive.

Happiness always looks small while you hold it in your hands, but let it go, and you learn at once how big and precious it is.

Maxim Gorky

I always appreciate the quotes on your page. Today I am taken with the one that says, "Happiness always looks small while you hold it in your hands, but let it go, and you learn at once how big and precious it is." This is so very true.

I liked the quote from Matthew Arnold. I think it is a good thing to have enjoyed the sun and to live light in the spring. To me that means taking time to enjoy things in life and not hurry through it!
