Chapter 3, Page 1, Book 15

The March wind roars
Like a lion in the sky,
And makes us shiver
As he passes by.
When winds are soft,
And the days are warm and clear,
Just like a gentle lamb,
Then spring is here.

March 1 - Hand in Hand, Together we can !

When you commit yourself to living love,
you feel at peace with yourself because
you are at harmony with the flow of life.
Viewing life from the highest perspective,
you feel confident and secure.  You
realize that no matter how things may
appear, you are loved and protected.
You know you are one with God, and
you bring your peace with you wherever
you go.  You’re not looking for love,
but for opportunities to love.

Susan L. Taylor

I'm sure you've probably heard the saying, in like a lion, out like a lamb, when referring to the month of March. In other words, if it starts out with cold weather, then by the end of the month, it starts warming up.  LOVE  is a lot like that too. We all have a little wind that comes into our lives. Things that blow in when we least expect them. But I’ve learned to never regard love as something that hurts but something that is so wonderful when you have it. Love is just like a piece of valuable jewelry that a neighbor has lent you.  Just be grateful for that time, cherish it at the time and cherish the memories.

Showing that love causes us to be where the hurting are, to see through the faces to the deepest needs as well as the most immediate, to be companions, care givers, healers, to hold out hands of love and not let go. It is the hands we go on holding in our hearts that is important.  As we show empathy for each other, we live with an open heart and offer a helping hand to those that need it.

We walk this road together, hand in hand. And though our paths may separate. And though times may become harsh. I will always be here. Walking hand in hand with you until the very end. I will never abandon you. I will never let you go. I will be here forever. Waiting and hoping. Let's walk together.

Beautiful entry!! We are supposed to be around 70° tomorrow with some possible storms. Then Wednesday we have another chance of wintry mix! I'm so ready for porch sitting weather!

Having empathy for your fellow man is important indeed. I love the poem you ended with. "We walk this road together, hand in hand. And though our paths may separate. And though times may become harsh. I will always be here. Walking hand in hand with you until the very end. I will never abandon you. I will never let you go. I will be here forever. Waiting and hoping. Let's walk together."

More neat pictures, Here is hoping the now is gone soon and the walking will be real, not just in a good story or poem.
But I like the thought of walking together even on separate paths.
Neat.
Stay warm.... Spring will spring, that is for sure.

March is definitely coming in as a lion here with wind and rain :)

That was a beautiful poem with Adrian Mortal; a good thing to walk hand in hand with those we love in our lives together.

Just yesterday I was telling someone how we used to march hand-in-hand at kindergarten. What a shame to have 'grown up' and let go.
