Chapter 12, Page 29, Book 14

December 29th - The Fifth Day of Christmas

I wish we could put up some of the Christmas spirit in jars and open a jar of it every month.

Harlan Miller

Christmas is a celebration and a way of life, not a one day festival of getting what we want.  Christmas is in the love that is shared.  Doing little acts of love daily can can alter your world and those around you.

Be generous all year round, not just at Christmas.  Take time to be with family and friends and let them know just how much they mean to you.  Realize that time off is a good thing to take every day and not just at the holidays.  Every one needs a break or just a few minutes to take a deep breath and let go.

Remember: the evergreen reminds us that through all the seasons and in spite of adversity and change, life prevails and hope grows forever anew.

I am so e noting these blog posts. I want to always be generous no matter where we find ourselves when it comes to finances. We can be generous in so many ways, with a smile, a listening year, a warm hug. So many ways to be generous.

I like the quote from Harlan Miller, a wonderful idea, indeed. "I wish we could put up some of the Christmas spirit in jars and open a jar of it every month."

You always produce a gem to be remembered. Love the last statement about the evergreen and wow, such a pretty picture. I love seeing snow on an evergreen.
Beautiful day here in Florida, looks like sunshine out side. Boy did we sleep in today!!!

I like the thought of being generous year round, something to strive for in 2015 indeed.
