Chapter 10, Page 20, Book 14

Before you quit, try.
Befor you talk, listen
Before you react, think.
Before you criticize, wait
Before you move on, forgive.

I chose the word BEFORE for my theme today.  It’s a good one to think about so I’ve lots to share

Finish each day before you begin the next, and interpose a solid wall of sleep between the two.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Things we did before the internet:

We went outside more

We talked more

We used the phone book

We had to wait for an order to be placed over the phone or through the mail

We bought newspapers and magazines

We went to the library to look up information in reference books or if we had one, we used the encyclopedia

Things to do before making a big decision

Explore the options

Consider who will be affected

Invite others to give their opinions

Don’t let fear make your choices for you

Move forward and used your God given wisdom

When your life flashes before your eyes, make sure you've got plenty to watch.

Things to do before you get to heaven

Give away something valuable

Reconnect with a long lost friend

Spend an entire day totally focused on the One who gave you the gift of life

Dance with abandon

Banish anything that's preventing you from opening your hands and your heart to others.

Refuse to retire from life.

Share what you've learned. Listen as much as you talk. Ask questions. Encourage. Stay open to God's surprises, and you may learn as much as you teach.

You have to be before you can do, and do before you can have.

Funny thing, BEFORE I VISIT HERE I know I will have a good read. I like old ZIG!
We are getting cooler here, that is welcome in Florida at times.(smile)

Sometimes I like the way things were before all this modern technology and fast living.
