Chapter 8, Page 14, Book 14

Life is like a tube of toothpaste … when the pressure is on, what's on the inside of us comes out.

When you think about it, toothpaste does not simply come out of a tube on its own, we force it out and use it up.

If we view life this way, it forces us to take responsibility for each moment.  Our time is valuable, and so is life. What we do with our life, and our time matters.

The miracle is that no matter how much life squeezes us, we always have more to give. In fact, often times the best we have comes at the time when we are about to throw in the towel. History is full of incredible men and women who were about to give up but decided to give a little more, to hold on for one more day, to get up and try one more time.

There's LOTS of toothpaste left in THIS tube!

Courage is grace under pressure.

Ernest Hemingway

There is a lot of truth in what you say. Good thoughts today. Blessings

Some folk act different when squeezed. I like to think the real you-comes out when squeezed.

I like this one. It is so true about the pressure being on the inside and needing to come out.

Glad to hear that there is lots of toothpaste left in you, Ma!! So true we do have to squeeze that toothpaste out and even when we think the tube is empty, there is still a bit more that be squeezed out, just like our lives :)
