Chapter 7, Page 18, Book 14

LIFE IS…

Life is like a canvas. It begins blank and every day is like another brush stroke.  Make it a masterpiece!

 Unknown

Each morning, we are given the gift of 1440 minutes. It comes in a package wrapped with a ribbon of infinite possibility. You may think, as you are presented with it, that you know what it contains, but the reality is, it is truly a surprise. Each moment is ripe with possibility and it takes only one tweak of thought to change what you find when you open it.

Like art, each life moment is sacred and special, worthy of admiration and gratitude. When you choose to see your life as extraordinary, it becomes extraordinary. No one else but you gets the chance to make your life beautiful.

It begins blank and every day is like another brush stroke.

Unknown

In life, we  all have to create and start over and start once again, everyday. If we look at each day as our blank canvas, that is waiting for us to take a risk or to make the first stroke and we can only wonder what will we create in the end.  All of our experiences, good or bad, will only help to deepen the colors and make our strokes bolder.

Remember that here are many stages of creating a great painting or a great life. We must have the courage to take a step, make a mark or take an action even when we do not know what the outcome will be.

Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can.

Danny Kaye

PS:  I hope you are not getting bored already with these Life Is thoughts because I’ve found enough different ones to take me all the way through the middle of August.  I’m having fun in searching for and finding all the different comparisons there are out there.

My gosh, I'm amazed there are lots of life descriptions out there. Yes, please continue to share them, Ma! It must be fun to research them and organize your thoughts about each one. I like the daily gift we get of minutes and I like to imagine each day a new canvas to create, lots of wonderful possibilities to do so daily with new adventures!

like Danny Kaye's observation..." Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can."
