Chapter 5, Page 23, Book 14

Every thought is a seed. If you plant crab apples, don't count on harvesting Golden Delicious.

Bill Meyer

Day 34 of 50: Plant some seeds... seeds of creativity that have been waiting for spring to emerge

Planting a seed is the simple act of setting something into motion that will help you create the life you want to lead. It even be taking a moment of sorrow and realizing that you can use it to fuel you.  A garden isn’t created over night, and neither is a dream.  When a seed cared for with nourishing soil, rays of sunlight, and water, they change shape and start to become whatever it is they were meant to be.  It’s the same with our goals and dreams.  We have to nourish our mind, body, and spirit.

We can plant seeds of love, seeds of kindness and seeds of hope too. And the good news you never do get too old to plant some seeds that will grow and blossom.   Christ came that we might have life and have it more abundantly.  This life which He came to give will blossom with the goodness of living, in unselfishness, kindness, loyalty, gentleness, patience.

The way to activate the seeds of your creation is by making choices about the results you want to create. When you make a choice, you activate vast human energies and resources, which otherwise go untapped. All too often people fail to focus their choices upon results and therefore their choices are ineffective. If you limit your choices only to what seems possible or reasonable, you disconnect yourself from what you truly want, and all that is left is compromise.

Robert Fritz

New ideas, like seedlings, grow and flourish with attention. New ideas are precious.

Happiness held is the seed; happiness shared is the flower.

Think about things today that make you happy, not things that make you sad.

Today I’m thankful for:

1694. for pennies, like blessings, they do add up
1695.  for my old coffee pot, my newer one cup system seems to have given up
1696.  for a nap on the porch, I’m enjoying the warmer weather

Every idea is a seedling waiting to blossom into genius.

Another good post. I seem, lately, to be dwelling on the more unpleasant things in my life. This reminds me to think positive- plant that seed of hope. Thank you. Have a great weekend. Blessings

What a thought.
Seeds! They must be the wonder of God's creation. I am reminded of the statement and book, Great oaks from acorns grow.
I found some seeds that are 30-40 years old a week ago. I am trying them and yesterday I see some little heads popping up. Imma hoping they are what I planted.
Love this one!

I like your thought, Ma, that a garden is not created overnight and neither is a dream. Wise words on planting our seeds, no matter how old we might be!
