Chapter 4, Page 6, Book 14

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud

1 Corinthians 13:4

Today’s Focus:

Give up jealousy----pray for trust.

Never be jealous of anyone, be happy for who you are and what you have .

Jealousy is a solvent that corrodes trust, dissolving the bond that keep relationships together. For any relationship to be healthy, there has to be trust. Jealousy happens most commonly within a romantic relationship, although it can occur between siblings and other family members, in friendships and in professional relationships. Here are some ways to handle the 'green-eyed monster'.

Jealousy or trust..It`s Our Choice!  They say jealousy proves how scared you are to lose the one you love. But sometimes, it shows how much you don't trust them.

To prevent jealousy you must learn to love yourself.  Comparing yourself with others is one of the most basic causes of jealousy. You must stop feeling that life is a competition.

You must learn to find happiness.  To battle with insecurity is one of the great struggles within the human heart. You must learn to not dwell on negative thoughts.  You must smile and carry on with your positive thoughts.
Just because you feel there is a threat, it doesn't mean that it's genuine. Try to view the situation objectively.
You must stop worrying about things that will happen if they are destined to happen.    You must start to really be thankful for what you have.  There we have it counting our blessings again !
You must tell yourself everyday that you are unique, one of a kind, and whatever it is that you do it is an important job too!  We all have different talents and everyone of them is needed.

Today you are You,
that is truer than true.
There is no one alive
who is Youer than You.

Dr. Seuss

LOVE the Phyllis Diller quote. PERFECT sentiment.

I like the part of not worrying about things that are destined to happen and to be thankful for what I have. I tend to worry, so I'll try to thank more instead!
