Chapter 3, Page 22, Book 14

Have a heart that never hardens, a temper that never tires, a touch that never hurts.

Charles Dickens

Today’s Focus:

Give up hatred----return good for evil.

Strange as it may seem, we have the power of disarming our enemies by treating them as friends. Of course, being kind does not remove the weapons from the hands of our enemies, but it does remove their reason for seeing us as their enemy.  If we respond as neighbors, rather than as enemies, to those who hate us, their shame may burn away their anger and allow them to see us as neighbors.

Pursuing peace is the remedy to revenge. Walking the path of peace lays revenge to rest.  Overcoming evil with good is not a lost art rather it is the only art for peaceful living.

Fear less, hope more; eat less, chew more; whine less, breathe more; talk less, say more; hate less, love more; and all good things are yours.

LOve the Swedish proverb.
And it takes a lot of courage to return good for evil, but it is worth the effort.
looks like a beautiful day here, but overcast.

I do agree to treat people who might not like us or we might not be fond of with respect and kindness no matter how they might treat us. Hope your Saturday was a nice one!

Definitely whine less. I have made an effort to be less whiny. It doesn't always work, but it's a lot more pleasant for me. Wishes for a great spring Sunday!
