Chapter 12, Page 7, Book 13

Sleigh bells ring
are you listening
 in the lane
snow is glistening
 A beautiful sight
 we're happy tonight
 walking in a winter wonderland

Written in 1934 by Felix Bernard (music) and Richard B. Smith (lyricist). Through the decades it has been recorded by over 150 different artists.  Due to its seasonal theme, Winter Wonderland is often regarded as a Christmas song in the Northern Hemisphere, although the holiday itself is never mentioned in the lyrics. There is a mention of sleigh bells several times, implying that this song refers to the Christmas period.

Some of the happiest times I can remember were those that didn’t cost anything.  Just being alive in the moment with those you love can mean everything !

During this season of the year, when shopping and buying often take center stage, why don't we decide to focus on being satisfied in our present circumstances.

Snow is in the forecast ... Bundle up and enjoy the fun, glamour and beauty of the holidays.  And of course remember the reason for season…

The pictures today are from our walk through one of our metro parks light displays last year.

Those words tick out as a recording playing as we look at Christmas displays. What a wonderful time of the year.... Thanks... Yes some of the best times cost nothing.

I like that song; I hope you don't get too much snow Ma, but I guess it is December so to be expected. We are getting rain today, which is always welcomed in our region. Cute pictures from last year's light displays!

It was in the 80's here yesterday and down to 46 today, I think it will warm back up again tomorrow. I wish some of your snow would blow down this away. Lol. Take care, Jean
