Chapter 10, Page 19, Book 13

Don't be discouraged.  It's often the last key in the bunch that opens the lock.

Persistance in all things means that you never give up and keep on going.  There are many things along the way, meaning our walk in life,  that keep us from immediately achieving our goals.  Things that temporarily stop us from getting things done.  Interruptions and impediments that try to keep us from getting our work done, or that hold back our dreams.

It is better to persevere and keep on trying.  With a little faith and hope all things will work out for the best.  Knowing how hard it is to struggle up from the bottom of despair, I know what it is to persist.  To give every day a chance and keep on going.   It's true that patience, persistence and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel.  Things do change for the better.  It's when we are at the end of our rope, that we need to hang on as it is then that things will change.

Difficult things take a long time, impossible things a little longer.

Very well said. I needed this right now. Going through a tough spot in the road right now. Hoping to see the light at the ned of the tunnel soon. Trusting God is always there. Blessings

How many times in my life have I survived by trying a knot and hanging on!

I've come to think when going through a rough time "this too will pass" because they do pass (until the next one) and then life gets back to normal for a bit. I think that's why we need to have friends or people in our lives to encourage us and be with us when times are tough, because times will be tough.
