Waiting for the fish to bite or waiting for wind to fly a kite. Or waiting around for Friday night or waiting perhaps for their Uncle Jake or a pot to boil or a better break or a string of pearls or a pair of pants or a wig with curls or another chance. Everyone is just waiting.
Waiting is one of the hardest things to do. Still most of us find ourselves waiting for something most every day. It's especially hard to wait and do nothing. Knowing when to wait and when to take action is difficult.

One of best pieces of advice I've seen is that the time to act is when you’re avoiding what you know you want to do because you’re afraid. The time to wait is when you want to take action in a situation you can’t control. It’s a good operating principle
