Chapter 9, Page 19, Book 13

Life is sometimes like a game of hide and seek: happiness is hiding and you are it

In the game of hide and seek, children are delighted to find their hiding playmates. It may take many minutes and several searches before all the players are found, but once the last one is discovered, all regroup and start again

I can't even begin to tell you the many times I've had to regroup and start all over again.  It may have been starting over again in a new job, or starting over again when I lost loved ones, or simply starting all over when I spilt the milk all over the floor.

There are times too that it seems like the goals I pursue are hidden from me, just out of reach.  Finding happiness is like a never ending game of hide and seek. We may find happiness in one thing at one moment than it hides itself again in a different place for us to seek once more.

In some ways life is like a game of Hide-n-seek; we are all either hiding from God or seeking Him.

You can look high and look low, but wherever we are, God is always there.

What a true statement about playing hide and seek with God. I never really thought of it that way, but it is true. Thank you for sharing this thought. Blessings
