Chapter 8, Page 3, Book 13

I believe in the sun, even though it doesn’t shine.
I believe in love, even when it isn’t shown.
I believe in God, even when He doesn’t speak.

Inscription found on the wall of a concentration camp

Specially blended for hope...

We naturally feel lighter and happier when the sun shines after a lengthy period of gray skies and rain. It is a thrill to see the sun break through the clouds.

It's hard to believe that someone suffering from the bonds of being in a concentration camp could have such hopeful thoughts.  Yet where would we be without hope.

Our outlook brightens when a new understanding illumines our minds.

Light is sweet, and it is pleasant for the eyes to see the sun.

Ecclesiastes 11:7

Yes it is amazing the power of the mind and positive thinking. It is hard to imagine the conditions in a concentration camp, and anything near that kind of thought.
Cool here this morning, but clear.. THE SUN IS SHINING!

There is always hope when you see the light of day.

I always try to jeep a small ember of hope inside.
