Chapter 6, Page 19, Book 13

Summer is the time when one sheds one's tensions with one's clothes, and the right kind of day is jeweled balm for the battered spirit.  A few of those days and you can become drunk with the belief
that all's right with the world.

Ada Louise Huxtable

Specially blended for lazy days of summer...

Summer's the time to relax and have fun.  The spring planting is done and the rainy days are past.  The daily pace is less hectic, and we are more likely to spend time with family and friends.   It’s a season that’s full of opportunities for enjoyment.

Life doesn’t completely stop in the summer, of course, but it does tend to slow down and give us more time to reflect on how happy we are with our lives.

The beautiful summer weather gives a chance to be out and about more and when you have a family like mine that has to travel in order to get together for holidays, it means a lot to know that the roads are clear.  Summer is known for cookouts, pool parties, and front-porch sittin’.  It's a perfect time to spend time with those that are most important to us.

I think the most important part of summer is to have fun and enjoy the outdoors, but we don't want to keep so busy that we don't take the time just to rest awhile and refresh ourselves.

Finding balance in the crazy, lazy, hazy days of summer is important for all of us.

Summer time is when my spirits pick up. The sun is shining; the temps are warmer; flowers are blooming. And I get to look at God's glorious creations. Blessings

Wow summer is here in a couple days. It's been a long time coming, for sure.

What is funny is that I have kids in the school system - so there is summer - off! What do people feel about summer who work - is it still summer?
